Slipping Through the Fingers of Ambiguity

so much space can fit in a sigh
in my restless imagination
i see the entire world differently
like it was just born
vast and wild

substantiating this shadow
i feel the skin of my ideas
 colors vibrate in between us

i kneel before this wonderful pain
honoring my feelings
i surrender

up into the rafters of baked clouds
i ascend with abiding patience
i drift into this like a fool

into the poets smoke
my hands parted before my lips
 my words in their marbles
spinning in place
my gun is loaded

i am dizzy and my heart's a drunk
smiling in a riddle of us
new meanings
theses are new days

 sort of hidden
sort of obvious
it's faith not a belief

nothing early
nothing late
