I love making art for people's homes.

"Everything in creation has its appointed painter or poet and remains in bondage like the princess in the fairy tale 'til its appropriate liberator comes to set it free." — Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life." — Bob Marley

"I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet." — Jack London

"For enjoyment is a weapon. The man who is capable of joy is capable, to a large extent, of changing his world. Joy is not a weak spineless idiot either. Its backbone is stronger than bitterness." — Jane Roberts

"To me at least, poetry like love- implies a magical approach to life, quite different from the presently accepted rational way of looking at the world. That is, poetry brings out life's little nuances. It delights in forming correspondences between events that seem quite seperate to the intellectually-tuned conciousness alone, and reveals undercurrents of usually -concealed actions that we quite ignore when we're most concerned about thinking rationally. Actually, that kind of vision contains it's own spontaneous rationality, and often supplies us with answers more satisfying than purely intellectual ones-" — Jane Roberts

"Today is tomorrow, and present is past. Nothing exists and everything will last. There is no beginning, there was no end. No depth to fall, no height to ascend. There is only this moment, this flicker of light That illuminates nothing, but oh! So bright! For we are the spark that flutters in space, Consuming an eternity of a moment’s grace. For today is tomorrow and present and past. Nothing exists and everything will last." — Jane Roberts

"The dreamer dreams, and the dreamer within the dream dreams." — Jane Roberts

"As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment. Whatever your conscious mind assumes and believes to be true, your subconscious mind will accept and bring to pass. Whatever you habitually think sinks into the subconscious. The subconscious is the seat of the emotions and is a creative mind. Once subconscious accepts an idea, it begins to execute it. Whatever you feel is true, your subconscious will accept and bring forth into experience." — Jane Roberts

"Suffering is not good for the soul, unless it teaches you how to stop suffering. That is its purpose." — Jane Roberts

"You were born into a state of grace. It is impossible for you to leave it. You will die in a state of grace whether or not special words are spoken for you, or water or oil is poured upon your head. You share this blessing with the animals and all other living things. You cannot fall out of grace, nor can it be taken from you. You can ignore it. You can hold beliefs that blind you to its existence. You will still be graced but unable to perceive you own uniqueness and integrity, and blind also to other attributes with which you are automatically gifted." — Jane Roberts

"Everything we do is infused with the energy with which we do it. If we're frantic, life will be frantic. If we're peaceful, life will be peaceful. And so our goal in any situation becomes inner peace." — Marianne Williamson

"You darkness, that I come from, I love you more than all the fires that fence in the world, for the fire makes a circle of light for everyone, and then no one outside learns of you. But the darkness pulls in everything: shapes and fires, animals and myself, how easily it gathers them! - powers and people - and it is possible a great energy is moving near me. I have faith in nights." — Rainer Maria Rilke

"He was now in that state of fire that she loved. She wanted to be burnt." — Anaïs Nin

For the first time, scientists have been able to send a simple mental message from one person to another without any contact between the two, thousands of miles apart in India and France. Research led by experts at Harvard University shows technology can be used to transmit information from one person’s brain to another’s even, as in this case, if they are thousands of miles away.

“Awareness is what makes you a master - and when I say a master, I do not mean a controller. When I say master, I mean be a presence - a continuous presence. Whatever you are doing, or not doing, one thing must constantly be in your consciousness, that you are.” — Osho

“Your emotions are the indication of what vibration you are holding. Your vibration equals your point of attraction for everything you’re convalescing with.” — Teal Swan

“The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer. They think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.” ― Ken Kesey

“Get out into the sunlight - out where everything is - with a vibration that is so dominant that those who annoy you; those who make your life feel uncomfortable don't come into your experience, because your vibration - through your practice - has become so clear, so pure, so clean, so in keeping with what you want, that the world that revolves around you just feels like that. That's what you planned.” ― Abraham Hicks

“The universe does not know whether the vibration that you're offering is because of something you're observing or something you're remembering or something that you are imagining. It just receives the vibration and answers it with things that match it.”

“There are three things in life...not worrying what they are, not caring what others may think they are, and enjoying the wonder of what they might be.” ― Tom Althouse

“You have to take risks, he said. We will only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the unexpected to happen. Every day, God gives us the sun--and also one moment in which we have the ability to change everything that makes us unhappy. Every day, we try to pretend that we haven't perceived that moment, that it doesn't exist--that today is the same as yesterday and will be the same as tomorrow. But if people really pay attention to their everyday lives, they will discover that magic moment. It may arrive in the instant when we are doing something mundane, like putting our front-door key in the lock; it may lie hidden in the quiet that follows the lunch hour or in the thousand and one things that all seem the same to us. But that moment exists--a moment when all the power of the stars becomes a part of us and enables us to perform miracles.” ― Paulo Coelho

“When people are ready to, they change. They never do it before then, and sometimes they die before they get around to it. You can't make them change if they don't want to, just like when they do want to, you can't stop them.” ― Andy Warhol

“Nowhere can man find a quieter or more untroubled retreat than in his own soul.” ― Marcus Aurelius

“The soul becomes dyed with the colour of its thoughts.” ― Marcus Aurelius

Expect it, believe it, trust yourself and the process, and allow it to come to you.

Let’s admit, without apology, what we do to each other.

“I remember one morning... getting up at dawn... there was such a sense of possibility! You know? That feeling? And... and I remember thinking to myself: 'So this is the beginning of happiness...' 'This is where it starts!' 'And, of course, there'll always be more.' Never occurred to me it wasn't the beginning, It was happiness. It was the moment...” ― Virginia Woolf

"Every secret of a writer's soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind is written large in his works." — Virginia Woolf

"It is in our idleness, in our dreams, that the submerged truth sometimes makes its way to the surface." — Virginia Woolf

"I don't believe in aging. I believe in forever altering one's aspect to the sun. " — Virginia Woolf

"This being human is a guest house Every morning a new arrival A joy, a depression, a meanness Some momentary awareness Comes as an unexpected visitor Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows Who violently sweep your house Empty of its furniture Still treat each guest honorably He may be cleaning you out For some new delight! The dark thought, the shame, the malice Meet them at the door laughing And invite them in Be grateful for whoever comes Because each has been sent As a guide from the beyond." — Christopher K. Germer

"A moment of self-compassion can change your entire day. A string of such moments can change the course of your life." — Christopher K. Germer

"It isn't what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it." — Dale Carnegie

"The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along." — Rumi
